Several outlets are now reporting that Pope Francis’s health has taken a sudden turn for the worse and has received a blood transfusion due to complications of pneumonia and infection that placed him in the hospital earlier this week.
Although many in the international community think he may come out of this latest health scare, we believe that this is likely the last few hours for the pontiff. We request that our readers pray for the Pope that God’s will be done and that he moves on to his final reward in a state of grace.
We recommend to pray an Hour Father, a Hail Mary, a Glory Be, and the following prayer to St. Joseph, the patron saint of the dying:
To thee I have recourse, St. Joseph, Patron of the dying and to thee, at whose blessed death watchfully assisted Jesus and Mary, by both these dearest pledges I earnestly recommend the soul of this servant handmaid in the sufferings of his last agony, that he may be thy protection be delivered from the snares of the devil and from the eternal death, and may merit to attain everlasting joy.
